Just wanted to say a special “Thanks” to redroth for helping me complete my lensatic sight for the Vickers. Do to his kindness and willingness to help my Vickers sight is now complete. :urtheman:

Thanks for sharing Captmax - those are a thing of beauty!!! Love the cap badge mounted to the box - a bit of a personal touch there.

Just out of curiosity what do these sell for in the box in nice condition?
My guess is $1400-$1700 depending on year of manufacture, condition, and accessories. I’ve never seen two alike. Some have two spare float levels, others only one. Some have brass parts where others are aluminum. Brass is better in my opinion. Allister is the guy to ask about what dates are the best, he told me he has only seen two dated 1940 like mine. He has seen more dial sights than anyone I know other than possibly Bob Naess. I’m sure others will weigh in on pricing.
