A few 11mm extractors I’ve been working on.
the one on the right is original, the other 3 had the feed lips smashed off. I built up weld over the amount needed then used the mill to shape.
All of them function, some are just not as pretty as others. Practice practice I suppose.

Nice work, they look fine and if they function, that's all that matters. It's a fine line sometimes between what is just enough weld and what is to little. You don't know if you have enough until you mill it and see if you have any voids. If you are really anal you can go back and fill those low spots in and mill it again. Sometimes I'll mig something and if it needs a some touch up I'll go back over it with the tig.

Well done Mike (y) These broken feed lips were the common way of demilling them back in the day so they are certainly worth saving.
