I think $50 is an ok price if there is fluid still inside. I don't know which of the kinds he was referring to. I think this is a later style though because the scale isn't brass.

Pictures of the clinometer were still shown in FM 23-55 October 1955 but seem to have disapeared from TMs and FM by the 60's. This is not to be confused with the artillery quadrant which is similar but slightly larger and came in a curved leather case. i so much prefer selling stuff and buying stuff here than about anywhere else. a pretty good group of people who have been horse trading for years. everyone knows who not to do business with.

Found a Clinometer about 6 months ago. Some guy from Canada had it for sale on EBAY. I was lucky because I asked him about shipping, and than EBAY cancelled it because it had Machine Gun in the title. He contacted me after that and sold it to me. I think his opening price was $75 so thats what I got it for.
