I have an IZZY 1919 .308. I have had nothing but problems with it. I have the belt feeding problem solved. But now the rounds when in the T slot in the bolt face seem to be getting stuck, sideways. One side of the bolt slot will catch the case rim and the other side will not. It does this on both sides. The bolt face is clean, it did it with South African, and wolf. Any ideas. Thanks, Jerod

Whaddya mean stuck sideways?

Are the rounds just not sliding freely in the slot? Any burrs or deformations on the bol face/slots?!!?!?

Sounds like what you are describing is that one side of the rim is inside the T-slot and one is out, is that right? I've never seen that, but it seems like it would be related to orientation of the cartridge with the bolt as it is extracted from the belt. That shouldn't happen. How is your extractor? Does it do this when hand cycling as well as when firing? Can you get some pictures of the problem?

bolt

Yep mr. lucky, the round after being pulled from the belt gets to be cockeyed in the t slot in the bolt, it will grab on side of the case head rim, and not the entire case head, it does not matter what side as it looks to be on different sides at different times. I put a new extractor in, as the other one looked to be worn, maybe I will put the old one back in. Thanks, Jerod
