I am not much of a semi auto 1919 guy, but will this not allow a semi auto 1919 to be FA ? thus being a "conversion" part ? Or am I missing something ?

That is the concern. This is exactly what an SOT does with a registered post sample conversion bolt. Just add a stock trigger to your lock frame, timing/headspace and away you go. Not smart to put something like that on gunbroker, though my expectation is that he didn't realize what he had there. Nothing likely to come of it, but hopefully the purchaser gets that sear slot done mighty fast!
