Gents, I came across my first kit last week finally after months of looking for the right deal. Is there anyone in Southern Ohio that can convert to semi auto, assemble and park? I would like to stay within driving distance and save the $100 or so in shipping.

Greaser is in Columbus and is a first rate guy to deal with not sure of anyone else but Jeff Prater at Iron creations may know some one. He is in Lebanon IIRC but I would call him as he doesn't get on the board much these days.
Thanks toolman, I have talked with Jeff, I think he told me he cannot park the side plate. I will need to get ahold of greaser. I am kind of located in between Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati, so depending on Location its pretty convenient for me.

30cal is one of the go to people if you need internals machined to KMP standard. Who made your RSP? If you have access to a sand blaster, stainless steel tank, park solution, and want to give it a try parking is not difficult.

Thank you, I like the title. I talked with Rory a few weeks ago, he assured me I would have somewhere to put my money getting into 1919's.
Wells Custom Gunmakers from PA is where I got the RSP from and the kit from OOW last week. I don't have a line on any of that equipment or I would like to try to do it. I also have my KMP semi auto trigger as well.

Sorry I have been working all day and have not been on the board but it looks like you are good to go. Have Greaser check that side plate good before building as I have heard nightmare stories about the Well's plates, Chris will know what he is looking at but next time get a Halo or KMP plate and save yourself the grief. Russ

Hi there, I know a guy who put together a few kits for guys as favors. He is in the country, near Amanda, Ohio. Back in the day, there would be build parties and you could go build your gun with some help from others. If you are interested, I could see if the guy is up for helping.
You probably already know, but Brian is the guy for getting the internal a converted. Heck, I have a set that I plan to send his way just so I have a spare set lying around.

Thanks a lot my man, I appreciate it. As if now, I will be dropping it off to Greaser on Saturday, but like I mentioned, it never hurts to have a list of contacts in the event of needing something done at certain times etc.

On that Wells plate, don't be too nervous. Let Greaser check it out. Depending on when it was made, you will hopefully be fine. I hear they had sporadic quality control issues. I came across one by accident and decided to use it on an "economy build" just to satisfy my curiosity. Suppose I was lucky. Everything lined up good, none of the warpage you hear about, and have many, many rounds down range without issue.

Receiver box is done, parked and ready for internals. Send photos to J last night and through the day as I made progress.
The wells plate had all the hoels drilled and in the correct location. Bottom plate holes were countersunk. Plate needed deburred.
The plate was slightly undersized in thickness and across the bottom. I wouldn't stock these, but I'm spoiled with having previously used only T&S and Halo plates.
All that being said, its together, it went relatively quickly, no more or less work than other plates I've used. I'm sure it'll run fine once I machine the internals today.
