Hello everyone, I got my parts kit finally! It is missing a few things but I should be getting them. I have a few questions. Are the front and right rear cartridge stops and the left rear feed guide necessary? Also. is there anyone in Canada who can do the machining of the internals? Also, does anyone have a list of the rivets needed? I have 2 baggies and I want to confirm all the ones I need are here

Thanks
Ok this depends on the caliber to be fired, 30 06 you need the right rear cartridge stop (GI style) and the "post rivet" right front side cartridge stop
No left side guide .
For 7.62 X 51 (.308)you need the front and rear left side guides that are held by the feed pawl pin (the gaps in the LSP feed pawl bracket ) and an Izzy pattern RSP (Right Side Plate) Rear cartridge stop .
8MM the LSP front Guide( modified .308 guide) ,no Rear LSP Guide and an Izzy right rear RSP Stop .
I have heard members Not using Left Rear Guides with 3006 ,.308, 8 mm (7.92 X 57 mm) , along with the 7.62 X 54R and 7.62 X 39 mm conversions .
The Izzy pattern Right Rear Cartridge Stop (riveted or the right metric allen /torx screw installation ) works with 3006 ,.308 ,8 mm and i believe 7.62 X 54R mm and the 7.62 x 39 mm conversions by Barrelxchange (member) and i would bet the 8 X 63 mm Swedish you guys are getting up there again and is running with the correct barrel a member (contact148 a fellow of CA ) is working on it .....
The GI pattern works with 3006 ...... In fact a member milled a GI right rear cartridge stop down to and almost Izzy pattern (topic here about a month ago i think ...)
I would suggest the 3006 post front right cartridge stop (rivet ) ,( mine wast added After it was built by drill and tap installation and the left front guides (8mm ,.308) slide right over it as designed ) .
And an Izzy pattern right rear cartridge stop .
And go from there !! Every thing else is pull pinned into place at will and availability on the left side plate !!
It is all drill ,countersink and dome over into the countersink ....Machining up there stripped parts singly to a local shop ? it going to matter what trigger semi you use , the sear cut is tough the bolt is Hard , the lock frame and barrel extension are softer ....
I know you tell us the denial island size and depth and some one will chime in with the cut depth /size and clearance dimensions you will need

!
If you can not get it from Marstar i think our member master22nl over in the EU maybe able to help you !!
Rivets check against what member MSG offers in his rivet kits .
