Does anyone know anything about this box? I got it with my parts kit. Having a copy built right now. Ill post it when completed. If any one wants one Im sure my buddy will build more of them.

I just came home from my buddys shop the new copy is in the works. The box is complete except for the lid. It should be finished in a few days. The only trouble were having is the hasp hardware. Were trying to find something close to whats on it. Ill let you know happy shooting

Is the a GI unit or did someone fabricate it them selves, looks great.

Im pretty sure its the real Mcoy . It show plenty of battle scars and appears to have been painted a few times. There are a few old paper stickers on in but you cannot tell anything about them due to paint, Box is constructed very well, hardware sutch as hasps, hinges,and felt gaskets appear to be very old. There are some number stampings on one of the dove tail joints aswell.

Looks similar, but mine has a total diffrent configuration on the inside it holds my 1919 perfect and it wont budge, you can even turn it upside down and it wont move. Its also got holders insde for fm's, tools, extra barrel and misc stuff. Thanks for the reply
