I have a T&E NOS condition for the 1919A4 .30/M60. I am looking for a T&E with pin and chain just for .30 Cal. Will make trade. Willing to add money and pay for shipping.

You do know the M60 attachment comes off and you can use the T&E on the .30 tripod right? Just thought I'd mention it if you didn't :)

Yeah, just don't like having to use the lock rings to keep the pin in place. If I could find a pin with the ball on the end I would use it. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the link!!! One thing, what is the best way to get it to match the rest of the T&E?

Is there a place that has Cotterless Hitch Pins that have a dark finish on them already?

I would sand blast the zinc finish off and then parkarize it, Or finish how ever you want.

Just blast it, then park it.

We just reparked my entire gun last week. I was suprised just how easy
it was to do. It actually took longer to blast all the parts than it did
to park them. I made a pin out of a bolt and a ring. I put a chain on it
and want to put a keeper ring on the T&E for it.

Keep the T&E and modify it to do what you want.

Here is a pic of the pin i made from a bolt, a steel ring, and some chain.

I measured the place the pin goes in. It is 3 1/4 wide. The pin should
be at least that length.

Also, Keep in mind that the M60 T&E has no provision for the chain..
That is easy to remedy. Weld a small plate to the edge
on the front right side and drill a hole in it.

Voila!! Chain mount for the pin.
