I'm thinking of getting one of these with the detachable butt stock. Are the new ones any better than the old ones? They look to be made well and have corrected some of the problems that I could find out about (Cutts comp pinned in place, rear sight mounted with screws). What's your thoughts about them good or bad. Thanks for your help!!

I never knew they had any problems. Every one of them i even saw or shot were real nice. They are a little heavy ,but still nice.
I i know on the screws that hold on the rear site some people had to thread lock them ,but that is all i have ever heard.

I have never heard of the Cutts coming off ,but i do remember the rivets on the sights ,but man that was a long time ago. But you may still need to lock tight the screws on the rear sight . The one we were shooting the screw came out and fell on the ground ,lucky we found it.
