Here are some pictures of the tripod that came with my BA 1919a4E1 kit. Dark bluing almost black appears original.
Taverse bar is adjustable on one end. Some light rust, I'll try to clean it up and touch it up.

Beauty of a tripod. For 79 years old she is still a queen. Love the knurled brass ring on the traverse wheel. And of course now the search for the correct lintel and bolt.
A spray of PB Blaster in all the crooks and cranny’s helps loosen any grime before attacking surface rust.
I still find elbow grease, and a good brass brush works best for me.

Nice score Greg that should clean up beautifully (y) I have a Lamson with the same feet in similar condition.
