Looks like an awesome barrel. Nice work! I hate to install it! Once I use up the rest of my 308, I'll change it out.

It was nice to come home after a long day at work and have the barrel on my back deck. It made my day. I opened a spam can of linked 30.06 and did a dry fit. just got anxious to see how they fit.

I purchased a 30.06 barrel from John and it came in last week. just from looking at, I was very impressed by the quality. the workmanship is wonderful. I took out my 1919 over the weekend, put on the new barrel, head-spaced the gun and then ran 400 rounds through it. the gun and barrel performed flawlessly. thanks John for a high quality product at a very fair price.
