Starting to put an M2 .50BMG together using an M3 LSP and have a question. Was there a pintle pad on an M3 gun...? If not, would it be better to just use the existing trunion bolt hole and drill the pintle pad holes from scratch....? There is one (1) small rivet (?) hole next to the bolt hole,but it does not line up with the pintle pad. Also...last one...was the .50 BMG pintle pad the same as the 1917/1919 pad....? Answers /info appreciated....thanks,guys.....

Thank you,SSW...appreciate the info. Also saves me from mucking up the gun....LOL.... Might just have all the necessary parts in time for the Indy build party. Will start a sepaerate thread for them.....

You're going to try and complete this at the Indy party? Wow!

Took me better part of a month to complete mine at home. Of course, that was in between other projects and waiting for rivets, etc. And I was alone.....

Wish I could join you guys there - it will be a blast I'm sure! Good luck with the build L999here.
