If you know were to look it aint that difficult to find any war stuff, I remember been 15 years old, had a cheep detector from tandy ( your radio shack)
we dug up full cases with english 303 ammo, except that the outside was rusty, I remember that the ammo inside almost looked like new
all of this within 7 miles of the place I'm living now, close to the belgium border in the netherlands.
the guy's in the you tube movie are belgian collectors, the digging they did took place near an old WW2 air strip close to the city of leopoldsburg.
they proberly had their ID tag and collector permits passes with them
when been caught in belgium doing this on private property, they not only fine you, but also take your metaldetector, your vehicle etc.
that aint funny........................
only with the proper authorisation and permits !!

my question is who lays down ammo in ling sheets like that. Id think you would keep the ammo close to you incase you need to move? but what the hell Id shoot it...lol

Screw that digging up ****, I'd be paranoid about digging up a live rusty unstable grenade and having the spoon pop off in the process.

That was one good video as after the round went off there was nothing but a big hole in the ground and some pissed off Haji's that were far enough away to go to the hole and see what was left of their friends (NOTHING)

Yep...they sure fucked that one up to a faretheewell.
Shows just how smart a bomb sniffing dog is......they at least have the training and sense to sit down and be still when they make a find.
