I have 7.62x51 ammo on links marked "M13 PS". Should these work with an Izzy kit? I can't get the ammo to cycle correctly.

First time out with newly completed kit. Many thanks to HC in KC for being a great teacher and true friend.

What is it doing or not doing that it won't cycle?

Are you sure your links are 1919 links and not M60 links?

M60 links have a little tab that rests in the extractor groove......they won't work in a 1919.

Do you have the correct cartridge stops in place?

Are you using FMJ and not soft point ammo? Soft point ammo is too short and will not feed correctly.

How about expanding on your complaint a little and maybe we can help you out.

They must be M60 links. They have the tab in the extractor grove.

M13 links

M13 links are for the M60.

You want to find a link that is shaped like a figure eight.
One end of the link is bigger than the other.
If you can find Izzy links they will work the best for all calibers. .308,30-06, 8mm, 762x54r.
