They technically are not referred to as 80% plates, proper term is unfinished plate. It gets the antis panties all bunched up when they see/hear 80%.

Just order off the site. I placed two orders even though the site said they were out. They both came within a couple days.

LOL... The times they are a changing. When I first joined I read a ton of posts asking about 100% plates and the majority of people here said the exact opposite of what you just said.

As usual some very paranoid (anti gun plants?) on this board are trying to make us believe that a non-gun (80% side plate) is bad, and should be avoided. They think that we should FFL everything so the gubment can ensure that we are legal.

When has telling the gubment anything been a good idea?

Even the the post saying we should refrain from calling them 80% side plates because the 'antis' will get all riled up. Yeah, that makes sense. Give them the appearance of control, and they will believe that they are in control.

Gun owners are our own worst enemy... especially when they try to appease anti gun opponents.

I'll stand shoulder to shoulder with you on this one pharber,, when was the last time you worried about the Goverment banning Religion?? Yet the Right to practise Religion, like the Right to bear Arms are Protected by the SAME Bill of Rights.

If you are worried about the possibility of loosing your guns to an Illegal Ban,,, they've already won! Just save yourself the trouble and take your guns to the nearest Police Station and "turn em in"
