For some unknown reason Mrs. Mouse and I stopped in the local video store and bought a movie. I don't know why, we never do that.
84 minutes later all I could say was "Worst movie ever made", the Mrs. says it's the first movie ever to take the bold step as to not include the audience.
I have seen home movies that were easier to follow and more entertaining than this tripe.

If you hate your friends make them watch "Cloverfield", cheer for the monster, we did.

I really liked it... but I think during the credits at the end they should have shown like a news broadcast in the background that showed how things ended and if/how they won....just leaving the audience hanging was not cool... I guess it isnt for everyone, but I myself liked it.... However "and im not trying to be an asshat and brag here" I have a movie theater in my house, and on a 120 inch screen with a 7.3 surround system it is a different experience... I give a movie points for good surround sound audio as well as good picture and special effects, and this movie did great in both departments... Scenes like the bank shootout in HEAT or the firefight in Tears of the Sun are capital A Awesome :D anyone here is welcome to stop by and watch a movie anytime

Now... Open Water, there is a movie that I didnt like, that got over and I was like.. thats it

Well George ole buddy, you neglected to post your address!!
I don't think all the tv's I ever owned would add up to 120".

No asshat problems here, nothing wrong with spending $$$ on something you enjoy! I can see how it may be a different experiance watching a movie in a life size format!

Same here... danke.

I was going to Tivo the pay per view, but I hate lousy movies. Hate it even worse when I've actually paid money to get screwed.

+1

the wife loves to go to the movie theatre, but i hate shelling out 20+ bucks to see a pile of crap they call the movie of the year while eating cold stale popcorn.

the wife wants to see that movie called 'the strangers' next, but i get pissed off watching crap and all i can say is "and this guy dont take a gun on a road trip why??" The last one she drug me through was 'the hitcher' - where some dumb chick had a beretta pointing directly at the killers head and wouldnt shoot even after her boyfriend was ripped in half by a semi truck. That crap just irritates the **** out of me when only the 'bad guy' is allowed to use a gun.

and the wife wonders why everytime i go on the road i carry no less than 1 handgun and 1 rifle with 5 full mags for each. Aint gonna make no 'based on a true story' **** on me, no sir.

GR
