ive seen romy going for 150-200 per case + shipping (shipping has gotten insane, i paid 200 to ship 3 cases of 8mm not long ago), its still cheaper than alot of other calibers but has gotten out of hand. i really do hope the rumor is true, and hope the price is a lower than current as im in need of mucho 8mm to keep the brownings fed, but aint got a fortune to do it (especially saving all my pennies for a home down payment).

cross your fingers and knock on some wood, maybe some of the newer guys (like me) will get a second chance at stocking up some good 8mm.

I hear you. I just graduated and finally have a chance to spend a little extra dough towards ammo. I'm only sitting on 5k rounds for the mg42 and I'm not sure that'll cut it for long.
