about 7-10 years ago we got a bunch of 8x63 Swedish ammo it came in 1750 rnd crates on 1940's dated 250 rnd cloth belts back then it was $99.99 Canadian a 1000

its now $200.00 Canadian for 1250 rnds on belts still a deal

did you guys in the U.S ever get this stuff? its super hot I ran about 7K thru my 1919 semiauto with ZERO misfires

it requires a 8x63 barrel and you need to open up your booster

heres a site about it http://archive.is/NbIE

and here is the dealer in Canada selling it but not to the U.S (sorry) http://www.marstar.ca/dynamic/product.jsp?productid=103315

From a Swedish Kulspruta (their Browning Watercooled), I would probably need to either turn the barrel front end to fit my 17a1 or modify the barrel sleeve at the end of the waterjacket. Bought it in a deal where I misread the caliber in the add. Good swedish steel. Some guys would reform .30-06 brass with 8mm projos to make Wildcat rounds for these.

SARCO has these barrels for sale. I see they even lowered the price from a few years ago

They dont fit an a4. Youd need to make a sleeve for both the trunion and bearing end.

If anybody is interested.....I have four of the Swede 8X63 barrels (new original surplus barrels) for $200 ea shipped to CONUS...or I'll make someone a deal on all four. I was going to turn them down into MG34 barrels but that project went cold.

I am also looking for the 8x63 Swed M32 Bofors, if anyone in the States has some they won’t mind parting with I would sure be very grateful to you, I would be happy with just some brass to help me with my Mauser build. Thank you all and a safe & happy New Years to everyon.
