Dear GOA supporter,
U.S. Representative Paul Broun won a resounding victory in Georgia's
Republican primary last Tuesday.
Rep. Broun, a GOA Life Member, was not the "establishment" choice in this
race. He was vastly outspent and political pundits were expecting a close
race right up to Election Day.
Running as a no-compromise advocate of the Second Amendment, however, Rep.
Broun handily defeated the establishment candidate with 71% of the vote.Rep. Broun thanked Gun Owners of America and its supporters:
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of the GOA members who
supported me in this primary. The Supreme Court finally recognized that the
Second Amendment protects an individual right, but the leadership in the
U.S. House still doesn't get it. The battle over the Second Amendment
continues. Gun Owners of America is a powerful voice for the Second
Amendment. I'm proud to work with GOA in the fight for liberty.
Rep. Broun is a true Second Amendment champion, and we need more like him in
