I know Toolman203 is. I just finished two of these today. Personal collection 1) E model 1) BM59 1) BM59 Alpine 1) BM59 Alpine Para
The E model is the top gun bottom picture. The two I just finished are the 2 Alpines front 2 top picture.

I've got one but pretty much lost interest in it several years ago after getting screwed over on a paratrooper stock by a well-known member here. Advertised as NOS still sealed but turned out to be full length Italian NATO Garand stock. Apparently my bad for not knowing what I was buying - yeah right, like you can tell what is in a picture of a sealed bag with no scale for length but being sold as a BM59 paratrooper stock by someone that sells a lot of milsurp. Nice stock but no different than the NATO Garand stocks I'd previously bought here 5 for $100 still in wrap. Only resolution offered was if he had something else I wanted he'd credit me on it. But piss on him, he'll never have anything I want.

Sorry @GBYENKO for crapping on your thread but it raised a sore subject I'd almost forgotten about.

I never did the paratrooper but I have the BM59, BM59E, and the Italian Breda Garand built for Danish contract. I would take the BM59 over the M14 any day of the week. The mags are indestructible!

Sorry to hear that, those stocks used to be available. A little pricey but they were around. Don't see them much anymore. I've had them and those 2 kits for Probably 20 years figured it was time to build them.

Nice I've always thought they were neat rifles, just wish I had the money for one back when Reese had all the transferable's for sale. Was younger then and it was hard enough to pay rent. put food on the table and gas in the car

At one time, Springfield Armory (Illinois) advertised form 4 versions in Shotgun News for $1995.00 or real close to that. I have not seen any at any price for a long time. Seems to me their form 4 M-60s were about the same.

I got two form 4 M-60's for $3500. Gave one to Brother, kept one. He later sold his to Logan, Ohio, for $25,000.
