I just finished my shopping for this Forth of July. There letting us legally set off fireworks this year on the third and forth so it was FUN TIME at the tents today!! Boy I can?t wait; I was the kid in the candy store. :D At the bottom of the pile you can see CaptRays and my semi?s. I?m still waiting on the 8mm barrels for each so that I?ll have a package deal to sell for Ray?s widow of; the gun, (308, 8mm, 30.06) tripod, T&E, belt loader and belts for sale soon. It will only be as a package as he wished.
Happy Forth Everyone!!

OH MY....... I am Immpressed, and I do fireworks for Disney World!!!! What,... are you trying to copy our show? You could really have fun if you were using a computerized firing system! Have fun, be safe.:D

OUCHMAN!!! Brian be safe! I know for a fact those Chi-coms love to include a few "fast fuses" in the bunch.
Stearman, my cousin Mark L. (NJ) has a good friend who does the same thing for Epcott and movie stuff maybe for the Mouse House too I'll ask him. He keeps telling me I got to meet this guy. Be a small world if you were he!
A friend of ours had 10-12 of those smoke "bombs" and Steve S and I were able to talk him into parting with 4; 2 each still in the original sealed wooden crates! They weren?t cheap, but talk about a s**t load of smoke!
I have worked for a local class C firework wholesaler/retailer most years from about 1976 on and thou very long hours and LOTS of heat (summers in STL MO) still really do love the job. I take my vacation to work for them. It was just a few years ago that we got the 500 and 250 gram items and they really do come close to the small things ya see at the real displays. If you can find any of the ?Brothers? brand fireworks in your area get them, they really put out a quality product!
Ouchman, I?m as safe as ?playing with fire? can be. Thanks for the concern. I run 2 pressurized H2O fire extinguishers and have the hose on and ready to go. These things are my second most favorite toys (guns are still first!) and I do a lot of over time:mad: just to pay for a night?s show, and it?s worth every penny!
Have a Great Forth all.

Lucky you. We are under a burn ban here where I live in W. Colorado, so there won't be any fireworks for me this year:( . Course, I don't think that it would include me shooting off my golf ball cannon a few times;) . Gotta make SOME noise on the 4th. Unpatriotic if I don't.
Thunder50, not relevent to guns, but I was with a group about 6 years ago on a bike trip out west (from Wisconsin). We stayed in Manitou Springs ( small town by Pikes Peak?) on the 4th. Anyhow, it was a dry year then too, and lots of bans were in place. They went ahead and did the fireworks off of pikes peak that year for the town. I thought it was kind of amusing that they were sponsored, and the whole shebang was supposedly run by, the M.S.F.D. :) I guess they figured if they couldn't control the danger no one could :)

P.S. Oh yeah, it was a great show!
Sweet BA! Have a BLAST! :D
BA is a PYRO beyond that of what hes telin ya, he has storys and scars to back them up. Does it slow him down or discourage him? HELL NO!

We had a shoot couple mo's ago and BA or Steve S set one of them smoke bombs off and it burnt THICK for a looong time, like close to a hour. Not that anyone in the surrounding area could tell cause BA also set 50 acres on fire with the 1917 and tracers so everyone was used to seein smoke that day. HA

pyros?? It's something your born with.

I used to love playing with that stuff. Light it and run!!
My Famous last words " Watch This"
I ended up actually getting paid to do it now .
Not near as fun as it used to be though ,to many rules and regs. but I get to play with the big stuff.
Be safe guys .

Happy Fourth
Take a minute to think of those that have fought and fight to protect our freedom past and present.
God Bless Them

Ps. I would love one of those 30lb ers myself.

"Life's no fun unless you light & run" is my motto

Even though fireworks are banned here my mate has a Low&High explosives licence, and we frequently 'don the lab coats to have a little fun :D

Even after losing most of the hearing in my left ear and almost losing my left thumb at the age of 7 I still never learn , I guess its an addiction more than a hobby?

Enjoy the 4'th of July celebrations my American friends, I'l even light one off in honor of you countrymens bravery all those years ago.
