Gents,

Since this board is one of THE most generous boards in all of gun boards, I've been contacted by a fellow member that is a rather upstanding member of our community. He's interested in obtaining about 20-30 of the .223/5.56 links for the SAW. Anyone here able to help?

PM me and I'll put you in contact!

Thanks,

Dave

Thanks Everyone....

Thanks everyone for your help and response. Rory said that he was going to send me a dozen or so. I'm setting up to make some adaptor plates for linking .223 utilizing the M27 link for all the guys that have M249s or Stoner 63s.

Best Regards,
Tom

P.S. I'm working on one for .50 DTC if there's any interest.

Or even the odd Shrike that actually made it out of that idiots shop... but you'd have a hard time selling them pushing the Shrike.:D

Kinda limited market, y'know? What's out there? Maybe a couple dozen Shrikes, if that?

as a Stoner owner I should let you know that there are 2 companies already selling link plates for multi caliber linkers on the market. One is SRT and the other is Hann (I think that's the name). I agree with Shattered, a 223 linker will not be a big seller. Luckily all my ammo came from the factory linked so I have not had to link 223 in a very long time but I do have one of the SRT linkers. The linker is really good for the kids to link all the tracer together that I strip out of my factory belts but I'm not sure if it is faster then hand linking the stuff.

I checked SRT's web site and for quite some time it has indicated tht they were not doing linkers because they were involved in suppressor production. If I could find a MG34 belt here in CA I think that I'd even try to push some into that. Well, when I get tired of linkers, I'll get back to the .22 conversion. all the material is on the bench I've just got to finish up the linkers that I have orders for. Thanks for the input.

Best Regards,
Tom

Hey Rory,

Stuff happens with USPS, so don't be bummed out. It's been a crazy month and time has been so short that I haven't been able to work on that one. Next week is looking better, maybe? And thanks to Jeff for stepping in where USPS falls short. The number of links is about 20?-24? roughly enough for 11" of links. I've still got your m13 links Jeff. Which will be coming back to you.

Thanks again guys,
Tom
