My parts sorting continues. Found this guy in the
Writing implement Office supplies Line Audio equipment Writing instrument accessory
Office supplies Writing implement Tints and shades Stationery Flooring

barrel box in the gun room. Took it in on trade for something "more than a few days ago". It's a 30-06 newish SAK but I never seen the chrome tip like that. I'm guessing it's something a guy had done??

Believe most of the stellite was used for the bbl inside lands and grooves and an occasional trunion. Might be an Izzy addition for the muzzle...? That's another first I've seen this week,next to the single Lewis drum pouch's.

Trunion would be hard chrome, that also appears to have been done on the bearing end of that barrel. Stelite was a liner installed in the chamber end 6"s or so
