Every damned time I run an online NICS query, the screen(s) change. Can they just leave this stuff alone for a few weeks? One needs to enter the person's full name not once, but twice. Plus, one needs to enter the type of id presented and that id's unique number. For example id type = driver's license, id unique number = driver's license number. Interestingly, there is no earthly way to check the driver's license number as the state issuing that driver's license is not entered. What a crock of ****. You can definitely tell the E-Check facility was designed by committee and not a professional.

I had received notices of the change coming, but yesterday I was scratching my head a few times also, looking for flagged blocks needing attention.
Plus, I was using a laptop, which I despise because of the location changes on the non-keyboard.....

The entire website is an aberration. It took me WEEKS to get registered because I was using a 'special character' in my password. Just like the website instructs. Guess what? Special characters cause known password issues (a direct quote from their help line).

Last week I changed my password for the UMTEENTH time. It took me 5 tries because the system simply wasn't registering. I finally got it to take and established my new password. The next evening a customer came over and when I tried to log in.....'your account has been locked'...

I work with GOVT websites ALL day long. The NICS site is hard to use and prone to glitches. Almost like they designed it to discourage users.......
