Israeli production Halftrack tracks are going to be the best bet right now. U.S. Dealers are overstocked, offering lower prices.

And their surface is rubber, so it's safe to drive on hard paved surfaces.
Looks like it's scale is made to that size...

Sorry guy's, I got screwed up I got my parts kits out of Cole Distributing of Kentucky. Talk about service, ordered it with credit card on Monday and it showed up to day, on Wednesday. They said it was 90-95%, I'd believe it, cause I don't think I'll have put any finish on it outher than the right plate. The tank kit has to be built piece by piece, no such thing as a parts kit. Although, there is a guy on scaletanks.com thats trying to get started selling Abrams kits.

...good start...

Nice start on the mini-tank...but will you be able to fit in it...? Second thought...what type motor/engine would you be able to make it all work with...? See you have the turret ring. At least I can barely fit into my Brit Ferret...LOL...

I wasn't thinking "kit" i would like prints or somthing like that i can fab. stuff from what i've seen in your pic. this is not out of my skill range. It looks like your going to have a hydro-static drive system? that seems to me to be the best easiest way to go. I wonder if a drive unit from a large tractor would fit the bill.
