Pretty nice trip! Mini gun... was it all you thought it would be?

Solothurn on a mount... was it to much for your shoulder? :p

AR with a wood stock too... very interesting bunch.

No high powered scopes on the MGs? Were their targets beyond your abilities to hit? How far are the longest targets?

How did the balloon gun run with the 45-70?

Did you get any of the RC planes?

Is that an Israeli Super Sherman?

What did your boy think?

Mini guns are nice. I like them very much.
the Solothurn was exceptional! I want one.
I hit 8 Dynamite targets
Shot down 1 plane
1 firework target
Furthest targets were 660 yards.
Per my rangefinder
45/70 worked good/not great. Cross feed problems because I changed ammo
(stupid mistake)
Yes (super Sherman Israeli)
My boy loved it.

Mike I am curious, did you have to perform any intermediate cleaning? I see you expanded alot of ammo on 4 different machineguns and I am wondering if any one of them required any kind of partial cleaning of the bolt face / chamber so that it would run efficient again? Or maybe mainspring tension adjustment after the gun got hot / dirty?

Yeah, when and how well did you clean them?

I’ve had a number of Vickers deflectors that I KNOW were not unscrewed and cleaned by past users.

Nope. No cleaning of any kind.
I put a wipe of extra grease on the Browning rear water seal. Because I don’t use packing at all on this specific barrel (very tight). That’s it.
