Hi everyone, new to this forum and especially to the belt fed world! Hollering from the Little Rock, Arkansas area of the country. Recently bought an Israeli m1919 parks kit I'm in the process of building. Joined b/c this forum has been a wealth of information to help me clue into what goes into a 1919 build. Been wanting to add a belt fed to my collection for awhile, and the 1919 is definitely an iconic weapon that fits along side stuff like what I got below!

Welcome...!! Looks like a good start....LOL.

As with every new US belt-fed type firearm aquired, suggest getting one of the US military field manuals for precise info on the disassembly, assembly and function checking before any range time. Also reading some of the posts on building the 1919A4 is a big help in doing it correctly...the first time.

I would pick up the drive rod spring tool toolman offers. Time, energy, and makes putting spring and drive rod together easier and I feel a little safer.
