This guy was close to the number of killed that mall guy did with a rifle ,4 people are in critical cond. and may die so his knife rampage may tie or exceed all the killings we have had lately except Va Tech.
If you really look around the murder rate in Japan is higher than in America ,Mostly gangs in control of drugs and prostitution doing the Kill Bill thing. Although very much exaggerated ,that movie was right about the fighting that goes on there we never hear about .
England is the same , there it is stabbings or blunt trauma ,a robber doesn't just hold you up ,they run up behind you and crush your skull with a hammer.
But these country's like to pride themselves on being so civilized ,living without firearms.
The Government and media couldn't hide this one ,to many people and news agency's saw it.
In 2002 ,37 people died in a fight between rival gangs in Japan in a turf war.
All lasting less than 30 min. in a ware house .
If a nut case wants to go on a killing spree they are going to one way or another ,even if they have to use a steel pipe.

Ask the people in the UK and Australia what a 300% increase in crime is like.
Thats how much it went up after they lost their guns.

Now the UK is going after swords.
Now this knife wielding nutcase going on a rampage killing 7 and more injured,.. that's gonna make us legal knife owners look bad

What's after a sword ban.. steak knives? oh.. I think they want to put the steakhouses outta business and force us to eat at McDogeaters, and learn to use sporks, and lets not forget they'll ban the look alike rubber knives and they will have to be made from pink rubber so the police won't taser the kids. (I'm kinda stretching it here)

Background check to buy a Buck or Gerber, that may be around the corner.

Did you ever notice that Japan doesn't have a standing army, just the JSDF, and that may explain why all the monsters (like godzilla, mothra) always attack Japan first

Well Coot Japan could say why do we have all the Zombies we do !
The field training video (Dawn of the Dead ) was very clear on Zombie combat.
NO ,Pu$$y A$$ 9mm ! 357 ,45ACP ,shot guns ,very clear on that.
In the UK no kidding there is talk that to buy a hammer you will have to fill out an approval form.
The truth is ,weapons have been around forever ,and someone can make a nasty Knife with an old wrench ,file , on a grinder.
Swords out of leaf springs , the problem is people who don't under stand this and will ban everything down to a spit ball.
At least Germany is waking up ,go read some of the new company's building stuff like an MG-44 in 22lr.
Sense they opened up that caliber for the people to own that place is going nuts ,building guns.
Rich came up with this one.

Phalanx,

There was a time when even our machine shops were viewed as "threats", we may see that again, very soon, even blacksmithing (the first American gunsmiths) will be scrutinized by a govt agency.

On the MP-44 22, heard they were coming to USA over a yr ago, nothing but silence since then, wonder if it didn't meet import "sporting purposes" BS? Thought I read .22 LR was exempt, guess FTB changed rules again. :(

Phal, you're limiting yourself to the "high tech" crowd. As you know, living near the border, that rocks and sticks are commonly used agaist our Border Patrol guys. That doesn't mean that Pelosi and gang wouldn't try to ban "high caliber" rocks or "assault sticks" - but the enforcement might be a bit difficult.

Bill a stone axe or a clovis point spear will make you grave yard dead.
What i don't understand is that crap in the UK ? I don't know of any swords killing anyone there ,not that if they have they are not near the problem they are in Japan.
I like to watch those two British guys on the History channel demonstrate mid evil combat.
Its not like you are going to hide that big SOB under your T shirt.
Sword control ? PLEEESE !!! Reality Ck.is more like it.
Well it could be like this ,no steel pipes longer than 6in ,no files longer than 2in, No screw drivers ,no power drivers because they look like a gun , Etc.
No under wear ,stockings ,no tampons because they could be shoved down someones throat and suffocate them ,where does the lunacy stop?
The problem is we need to look at the idiots in Government who dream this crap up.
Like our Government ,rubber bands ,paper clips ,tooth picks ? like the average gun owner is hording these things ? waiting for the day he is going to Rambo out and put them all over his rifle.

All you yahoos building your own weapons(1919, cetme, ak, ar15 etc) without the proper papers from the Ministry of Armaments are the problem. We must take all your welders, grinders, ball peened hammers etc etc. You are the threat to public safety and you will be treated as such. Now turn in your contraband or you will be duly punished. You must be serfs like the rest of the world.
