Please don't blame us. It's not my fault the politicians I vote for don't win. It is also not my fault that when I send letter upon letter, and leave message upon message to my representatives, they go ahead and vote the opposite of what I tell them.
Blaming us CA gun owners for our asinine laws is the same as blaming EVERYONE in America for the Federal AW ban back in '94. You certainly had NOTHING to do with it's passage as us gun owners in CA have nothing to do with the passage of our dumb laws. Our state is just too big and full of dirty hippies.
Well said and its good to see a friendly face here. What most out of CA don't understand is that the market has opened up in a big way over last couple of years, my credit statements can testify to that. What I don't get is the outright refusal to do any more business here in CA, we gunners are a fractured enough group, the anti's know this and play that card to their advantage quite well. As stupid as these laws are, in some ways we are gaining strength, this combined with events at the federal level are sure to make things interesting enough to warrant sticking around awhile longer. I've got a great job, love everything that the land here has to offer (land, not people) and will stick it out til the bitter end.
Another thought for those of you that would quit so easily.... come November, state of residence may not matter much any longer.... just something to think about. But go ahead and toss in the towel... am reminded of several statements through history that would apply here.
But I will also admit, as I am not a dealer, I know little of how this impacts you at your end, cost wise. From what I have seen, the approval for shipment is internet based and real time, but I agree any registration sucks, what are the fee's our esteemed leaders are requiring of you as part of thinking of the children?
Too bad too... I gotta long list of needs before year's end.
