Merely stating that they are not chrome lined from a wear/corrosion standpoint ,there is a reason the Izzy`s chrome lined their barrels for the same reason the Russians did ..... There is a still better than chrome lined for both aspects ,it is called QPQ Nitride (aka Melonite ) it has a 300% better corrosion resistance than chrome and is far superior for Lubricity than chrome or un chromed giving the barrel a longer life .

One of our members has QPQ Nitrided barrels if he cares to chime in .

OK so are the non-chrome lined barrels somehow bad or just not as good? $50 sounds like a heck of a deal to me for people who need a barrel and just are going to toss lead? Maybe I am wrong once again??

No it is a deal today !! They will just wear out sooner ,in the past it is what i paid for chrome lined ones but then i have been here from the beginning of this forum even though my membership date does not reflect my true membership date .

The chrome should still be apparent at the chamber and muzzle. Chrome won't park.

Actually we sent some out to have them re parked and it darkened all the chambers and muzzle ends it's cleaned off but it was blackened just like these. The reason I said this is if you look at the pictures they have in the ad you can see the Israeli markings.
