I got a CETME parts kit, and I am having difficult time finding those idiotic compliance parts made in the US. Either I find the parts, or I'll make them myself which is okay, I'd rather make my own trigger pack regardless and sell of the originals to someone who can use them. I have read in a few places that if you apply for the Short Barreled Rifle (form 4) status that this negates the BS 922R compliance crap, after its registered and it overrides the lower ruling, I don't care if its registered, either way I'd like to have a SBR in lieu of a 1/2 US 1/2 German made rifle. I've looked at http://www.robertrtg.com/g3.html site and a lot of the parts are interchangeable between the HK G3, but finding someone who stocks those parts as compliance replacements is the kicker.

What other sites are there CETME/G3 parts?

i'm more interested in the sbr option.

the us compliance parts will cost almost as much as the nfa tax stamo so if this is a viable option/true then my fn fal is going to go sbr and keep the foreign parts!

Yes, you can go SBR and avoid 922r, if fact, the Century US/Cetme FCG and remaining US parts will be close to $200.

One note, if your barrel length is less than 14" you might have reliability/bolt unlocking issues, best to have locking piece professionally ground to G3K specs, I'm told the Cetme locking piece will NOT interchange with HK. Least that's the advice I got from SBR Cetme owners. ;)

I didn't know what they had, so I called. I didn't want to place an internet order and then wait forever. They said that they were getting an order in, and although they had 250 backorders, the woman said that they were getting enough to fill em all,,, I guess she was telling me the truth. She sent a tracking number and I got it two days later!

Give em a call quick, before they are all gone.

Copes lists them too,, http://www.copesdist.com/hkg3.htm

Good deal I hadn't found those sites in my searches, copes was one place and dont remember the other but someone had cast SS receivers for $250. When my DSL is fixed I'll be reading those sites. I dont know what I'll do if my internet isnt working the rest of today...lol

I'm all for going SBR, then when the parts break I can buy stock parts and hack them up to work in the semi-auto plateform seems like it would be cheaper, sort of like the 1919's are made except those are all US parts just modified and more rare.
Got to go shopping later today, make some returns and finish boiling off the mess of liquid gunk I got outside.

There are a few ways to be compliant. You can get a JLD stock set from Sarco. You can use a complete S/A fcg from a G3. You won't find any S/A fcg parts for a cetme unless they are used. Or you can convert your F/A parts. There are several people selling breaks/hiders out there. You can a PTR cocking handle. And you can get a receiver from Century arms. You can also use Thermold HK91 mags. I just finished a build and it was a pain to get the parts. As stated above go to militaryrifle.com it used to be Cetmerifles.com. There are many very knowledgeable people there that will be more than happy to help you and plenty of information.
