PS: I don't want an M-2 tripod....too low!

Three choices,Pray that one comes along for a cheap price, (I bought an M122 for 50.00 one time,10 yrs ago). Or build it your self from scratch, or buy an Mg3 AA tripod and modify it your self, one fellow that used to be here built one out of a metal kitchen chair legs, painted OD it actually looked pretty good!

hahah i remember that one and being totally surprised that i woudl totally use it. it looked way better than what you think it would for being made out of some kitchen chairs

yep Slicks super office chair tripod works well.

or you can go with an AA style.
