CMP said they took in over 4,000 orders for ammo the first 4 days of the month, just prior to the price increase. This could mean as much as 40,000 cases of ammo they will have to process and it has only been two weeks.
Same here. I ordered 10 cases of the Greek the beginning of May. I sent an email last week asking how long it would be before they shipped it and they replied that they are not processing any recent orders for shipping until they get caught up. They said it would be "at least 2-3 weeks" before my order would ship.
I just received an email from customer service at CMP. They are working on orders from 4/28 this week, and the email goes on to say my order received on 5/2, should ship in 2 weeks. Just to give you an idea of shipping times.
My 4-28 order for 10 just shipped today. It was a pleasant surprise to see that they didn't go back and count my prior cases (from the week before) against the 10 case limit.
shortround,
my last order I drove to the north store but with the price of gas now and the 7% sales tax I didn't think it was worth it plus getting time off in the summeris hard.
And like iRIGHTi, I hate waiting so next time I'll drive.
I'm downriver so it's only ~80 miles for me or 160 round trip. My GMC gets 17-18 mpg so I figure $35 for gas. I got 2 cases and paid (I believe 6.5% sales tax) $26. So it cost me $61 to go get it compared to $76 to have it shipped.
But then it did cost me $575+ and $475+ for the Service grade NPM Carbine and the Rack grade SG Carbine that followed me home...
