Can you show a pic of the cross head removed from the socket? There should be 2 holes like the cross head in the left of this pic.

So what should I do with this guy?
I’d hate to clean it all up and then cover the pretty brass up with paint. I like it shiney. So what do you guys think? Restore it to original? Or make it fancy shmancy blued steel and shiney brass?
