Here are a few of the items that I found this creek, let's see what else was found!

One more picture, anyone else have a set of factory FN30 spade grips?

I got the transit chest for Erith manufactured Vickers B7621 made between June and October 1918. According to the stencil on the chest it shipped to Macau. Wish I had the gun too.

And a 1943 BNZ MG42 kit.

Both currently undergoing restoration.

What are you doing (or having done) to restore the transit chest? Would love to see pictures when it's done (before and after would be neat!)

Did you buy that at A-10?
A toward the end of barn. Needs German rear sight but came with extra German cam section and front end. It had a Yugo front shroud but I found a complete German front from cam forward Deslagging it now.

On another Creek project I need MG34 cover latch screw and all cover internals if anyone can help. Also need mg34 synthetic stock rear plate.

Never thought of charcoal lighter fluid, that's a great idea. Thanks barrelexchange.
Boiling water.

Just spray the parts with your cleaner of choice (I use simple green) and then douse with boiling water. It gets in all the nooks and crannies. Usually 2 applications is enough to get rid of all the cosmo-goo.

I never got to leave my tables but some things found me as they always seem to do. I scored a very cool arsenal made cut away 1917A1 trainer from 1939 which is a great piece. I also got a very early azimuth ring for the M2 tripod and picked up a Shaw style FN made 50 cal linker. Other than some small parts for the Colt 50 and a few ANM2 parts and generic smalls I just grabbed a few things for board members that could not make it.

Dan sorry it took me a few days but here you go. I finally had a chance to check it out this past Sunday and all the internals are WWI in the white (Remy, Westy and Colt) but they are certainly grungy. It has a hole in the board so you can run a belt through it and it is similar to the other one I have that was made by the head armorer at West Point in WWI. I think this one is from 1939 because of the top cover pivot assembly but can not be sure but it certainly has some age to it. The top cover is a WWI that they took the sight riser off which is kind of cool. I love the arsenal made trainers and just find them cool.
