If I cant find someone to sell or make me a 1919 Shorty barrel shroud for a 16" barrel does anyone have any advice on doing it myself? I dont have the gear for welding but I was thinking about cutting it down myself and making a jig for a muffler welder to weld it up for me. Im assuming a tig welder? Would too much heat mess with the park? any advice would be appreciated.

I tried to get a hold of him but hes not responding. Im thinking of worse case scenario in case I cant get one I need to modify one.
