Here are photos of my Czech vz58 that I built on one of the new Rapid Fire vz58 receivers.
Easy build and it shoots like a dream - Not near as "harsh" as an AK.
This one is a keeper -

The muzzle extension is a standard AR15/M16 A2 style compensator that I drilled out and re-threaded.
It was then TIG welded in place.

Looking very nice. Love the finish, the original finish was so bad its almost criminal.

Did you blast off the old paint?

What did you use for the new finish Duracoat?

Got two receivers on order.

We blasted off the old paint and re-finished with Dura Coat HK Blue/Grey.
Dura Coat has a color called VZ2000 that is supposed to be an exact match for the original color.

I can't wait, I got in for two of them on the pre-order. We also stopped at ORF on Friday on our way to the build party and left with a few fewer dollars than we arrived with, a nice 91/30 and some other stuff followed me home.
