I would like to add a note about a recent purchase. My brother and I just purchased one each of the Dewat Belt loader. I think it is a great loader for newbies looking to load or reload cloth belts.
They look nice and work very well. They run $575.00 and even come with the tools to adjust them to different calibers and belt sizes. A belt stretcher is also included with the loader to stretch out new belts before loading if needed.
If interested you can contact Jim at this address. dewat AT frontiernet DOT net

I am very pleased with this unit.
Thanks Jim,
Steamer

steamer: can you post a picture or point us to one?

I've got some cloth belts for my incoming 1919 that I'd like to try a few times even though I think I'll rely more heavily on links.

You won't be disappointed with Jim's unit. It is very nicely built and has all the accessories with it needed to load belts.

Very satisfied with ours.
