go over to gunboards and do a search. Lots of feedback both negative and positive. I believe they had issues early on, but seems they may have resolved them. I had planned on getting one when they first came out, but decided against it due to the problems. I ended up spending the money on an OOW BAR, and have never regretted it for a minute....though if I'm ever able to save up that kind of money again, a DP28 would be a nice addition.

We manufacture the DP-28's..

You can buy the complete firearm thru Military Gun Supply or have WLA manufacture your DP-28 part set. Either way you will enjoy the semi-auto DP-28! I own and shoot one myself (purchased before I signed on at WLA)

WLA also still has one or two Russian DP-28 part sets awaiting manufacture.

Are you located in California??

Whats the cost if I supply the kit? Do you modify the barrel lockup? I would like to interchange barrels, I have 2.
Depending on the details of the de-mil of your receiver WLA tries to manufacture the DP-28 semi-auto to have a removable barrel. We can properly fit two or more barrels if they are supplied to us at the time the DP-28 semi is manufactured.
Best thing to do is contact me at the "SALES" account with more detail about your part set and I will supply answers to your questions.
"California" models of the DP-28 have been manufactured. There is a charge for the extra work.

Richard,

Since receiving my DP-28 from Wise Lite I have acquired another barrel. What would I need to do to make it interchangeable with the one that is on it?

Fitment of barrels to a semi-auto DP-28..

On most of the semi-auto DP-28's that are constructed of the recent Polish de-mils (such as sold by Military Gun Supply) a surplus DP barrel won't even enter into the receiver.
Typically we have to have the firearm and the barrel(s) at our "works" to get them all properly set up.
I will mention that care must be used when re-installing a semi-auto DP-28 barrel. If it isn't properly aligned the gas cup on the drive rod will not mate to the fixture. Then the DP won't cycle fully. Same result if you mount the bi-pod too far forward. It drags on the moving parts of the gas operating system and prevents proper functioning.

What type of ammo has everyone been shooting in their DP-28? I have a bunch of the Bulgarian brass case 54R (light ball) and have heard that certain MG extractors will tear the brass case (or some other kind of problem) and want to shoot this ammo in something other than a bolt action M-N rifle.
