This may be 'old hat' for most or all of you experienced computer 'geeks'.......but when I turned mine on yesterday afternoon, the start up screen gave me a message 'keyboard failure'. I could find no obvious problem, shut down, restarted. No message but when my screen saver page filled in, my cursor would not move. Shut down again...........restart got cursor movement but it was erratic and almost out of control. I found the there was build up of lint (????) on the two little spools and the idler inside the mouse. This was easily removed with a dullish pocket knife blade held loosely against the offending crud and turning the spool with the other hand. Walla!!! back in bizz, no expense. A fix anyone can achieve..

very nice story.

we got to upgrade you to a wireless/wheeless mouse. and then maybe a wireless headset so that you can walk around down there and talk to everybody while your working.....

nah, you probably dont want to be bothered with that as much as your phone rings.
