Has anyone else seen this movie ?
This was an awesome movie.
the uncut version came on last night late ,i was late to work staying up watching this.
This was a true story about a Jew ,who knows German perfectly ,and Russian also.
he is captured by Nazi forces where he denies the fact he is a Jew in German.
All the while the Germans are shooting the Jews he was caught with.
This kid rises almost to the highest ranks of the SS ,all the time hiding he is a Jew.
I cant say much more but this was a real chair grabber.

Rory i don't know who that is , i have seen the 2 hour version of this on Stars ,but i saw the uncut last night ,it was 3 hours long.
the movie version skips around ,it doesn't show him about to get the SS tattoo like this one did.
Or him shooting other Jews so he isn't discovered.
Or How the Russians acted when they caught him.
Rory this was a good movie ,the director showed the blind hatred the SS had.
And how this guy was one of Hitlers favorites ,all the time hiding his penis.
And how they used him as a shining example of what a pure Arian should look like .
I know you would like it ,one slip up and they would have hung him with piano wire.
He even pulled the skin down on his penis and tied it with a string so it would stay down.
This kid got in way over his head.

Excellent movie! One of my Profs at the university showed that movie during class, a real eye opener.

One of the reasons i mentioned this here is ,in one scene he sees the Chance to get free.
He sees Americans in a fox hole with a 1919a4 held up at the Bulge.
The Americans have already killed over 30 men from his SS Div.
He is trying to figure out how to surrender to them ,wearing an SS Deaths Head uniform ,being a kid ,and doesn't speak English.
He is demoted and sent back to defend Berlin.
i would tell you more but i would screw it up.
This whole movie is sub titled.

Partisan did you see the uncut version ?
I saw the movie theater one and it was good ,but i couldn't understand why it went to that bombing at the Gestapo building ,right to the shooting in Berlin with the Russians.
It was like they left something out.
Then i saw this and it filled it all in ,after the Gestapo guy was killed by that Bomber along with his friend , the kid went back and they had Der Furor there at the School.
Needing SS troops.
The kid being the best one there ,was taken away.
After screwing up he was sent back to Berlin where the other movie picked up.
It was great wasn't it.
Just for you Rory ,i an going to look at my Stars book and i will tell you when the uncut comes on agian. Its useally very late.

Hey Phal, on what channel did they show this film? How old is it? I might try to find it on DVD.

It was on Stars ,if you have Dish Net . It was like the movie Das Boot ,you had the regular movie ,then you had one that was longer. i never saw either of them at the movies but they were both good.
This thing came out in 1990 , i cant believe it is just being shown around here ?
the web says it wasn't even released in America until 2003 , and in order for it to be played in some country's in Europe it had several parts cut out.

The New SS?

A lot of teachers do the same today, take 3 females I went to high school with, they went on to college and came out worse than they were in high school. I deliberately make sure they NEVER teach my kids, you would just have to be there to see how their students behave, creepy as hell and I can't stand to see it. Yep, they're miserable rotten human beings, hate everything I believe in, yet they wonder why everything (they believe in or try) ends in failure. Those 3 women rabidly anti-gun, their own children behave as animals, no self-control and always targeting morally-strong kids, trying to bring them down to their level.
