Its been worded a few ways.

"to put gun dealers with no license out of business"

So explain how thats going to work?

Background checks ...bla bla

I don't know how many free states are left for Face to face deals?
The whole Left Coast lost that privledge back in 15 or earlier.
Everything has to be transferred @ an ffl now and since 15.

Not in KY. We actually passed a new "2A sanctuary" bill yesterday if our dipsh!t Dem governor will sign it. If the school teachers had not bucked Matt Bevin for trying to be "the adult in the room", it would be a slam dunk.

Seems like a lot of rhetoric. "More background checks, keep guns away from bad people' kinda stuff. But you cant have your cake and eat it too.....

We just had another guy here in upstate NY threaten to shoot up a grocery store via social media. (copy cat to what happened here this summer during the Buffalo Tops massacre) . Police showed up, used red flag laws to take all his guns an ammo, he was arrested............AND RELEASED awaiting trial. (Thanks to NY's amazing progressive bail reform laws)

So they seized the tools, but not the operator. This is libtard-ism at its finest. Guns are bad M-kay? But people should be released out on their own recognizance because being sent to jail is racist. (even if you are a white guy threatening to shoot up a store)

No giving a gun to your Brother or dad vise versa in Oregon.
Gotta be transfered...No borrowing either.

WA states new Semiauto rifle ban is worse......You can gift it once to a relative.
When they are done with it ...it leaves the state or is disposed of. (right)
Lots of Grandkids might get lucky as if your gonna gift it.....the Giftee needs time to enjoy it.

My county is a 2A Sanctuary.......I think the whole state of WVa may be also. We should (??) be OK no matter what??

PJH
Nobody is safe. Doesnt Federal law trump state laws? Its been a while since Ive really paid attention (because NY does whatever the hell they wanna do anyways) but Im pretty sure if they pass something federally, you're stuck with it.

In Ohio you can privately sell anything you want except NFA.

Remember when they proposed legislation to ban the sale of machine tools? 🤣

We face a never ending war of attrition against individual liberty.

What a mess...!! Do not forget that the ultimate law enforcement in every county in the US is the sheriff. He IS the law and can kick out any and every federal official in his county.
I wouldn't bet on that.

It would be awful hard to arrest the sheriff if the county had a militia...just sayin.

We have a lot of "well regulated" volunteer fire departments around here. If civil defense was seen as a civil responsibility; our society would likely become more responsible overall. It would also reduce friction between the population and law enforcement. This is a topic guaranteed to drag me into a rant so I'll stop there lol.

Some well-armed patriots out here thought the same thing back when I was in school. Worked out REAL well.

It's behind a paywall, I cannot see it. Nevertheless, I don't mean well armed patriots or separatism; I am talking about a well regulated militia as described in detail by James Madison in federalist 46.
