Just got back from the range and my 1919 (.308) fails to feed reliably.It seems the cam that fits into the groove on the top of the bolt jumps out of the groove and leaves the feed pawl(?) jammed open.
This began to happen after about 20 rounds.Any ideas or suggestions to fix this problem?

well it sounds like you finally got the thing put together, congratualtions. It may be a weak top cover spring, it's the leaf spring. The other option is that the belt holding pawl spring is too stiff, check to see that the pawl moves freely.
