Ahhh! The good old days!! Its was a great time when all of the toy manufacturers were in an "arms" race to provide us kids with the latest and greatest "weapons". If only I kept some of them. I remember having a Colt .45 automatic, Thompson, M3 Grease Gun, Garand, M14 and a M16. Those were great times. I would have love to have a M1917.

My brother and I had a lot of them. There were the Johnny Eagle sets with the 1911A1 and M14 and the Big Game Hunter with a bolt action rifle and a pistol similar to a Colt Woodsman. Both of these shot plastic bullets that would put your eye out. I remember a real odd one of a 94 Winchester with a Lewis Drum on top.

I had bid on this Mattel gun a few years back - until it reached the several hundred dollar level.
