I had built it a few months ago, but finally got around to parkerizing it. It turned out pretty decent. I am happy with it. The coloring isn't perfect on the right side, and the park didn't take at all to the feed area of the trunion for some reason. I think it looks decent enough - especially for my first time doing this sort of stuff...

I didn't park the back plate / pistol grip (which is why its rough looking). I wasn't able to take it apart.

Also, I had to practically destroy the windage knob for my rear sight to get it off. I see that KMP makes a replacement set knob and screw...I'll have to pick a set up.

fyi...the tripod is the AA one from iron creations.

Looks great, the trunion appears to be chromed that's why it dont park, That's good as it hard chrome surface. The rest look like you did good. Now go out as shoot it and dont worry about scratching it up because that's what there made to do. I used to be so careful not to scratch and ding it but it's not a collector piece.

Thanks!

I had to file a small notch in the bottom plate so the trigger could reset a little bit further. This was enough to make sure that it would always positively re-engage the sear.

LOL yeah I've been tossing around the idea of building another one. They're quite addictive. My buddy has a couple extra parts kits...I'll have to hit him up for another set.
