I tried to fire Yugo 8mm out of my gun and I could not get more than 2 or 3 rounds to fire together and then I would get a deep primer hit but no ignition. I then installed a New/Old stock firing pin and I could get several rounds to go off together, I then installed the spacer from Brassmagnet and we fired about 1000 rounds with no FTF issues at all.

yep, same story when i switched to yugo 8mm.

Yup - even though there has been some controversy over whether they are helpful, I can say there are a couple of hundred of these out there, and I've not heard anyone say they wasted their time using them. At least not up until now. This may generate some response though!

i did snap a cocking lever but i filed some off the spacer and am ready to give it another run

George W and I were having trouble with the Yugo primers. Without having any spacers with us, we tried out the Swedish firing pins and they are longer than the standard A4 firing pins and work great. They use a cool two piece design with the actual firing pin being a seperate part from the main body.

I got them from Numrich in a complete Swedish 1919 tool roll they were selling a while back. I wish I had more.
