Just bought my first Vickers Kit (don't have it yet).
I'm not familiar with water cooled stuff.
Not sure what I've gotten myself into!

Any ideas what I'll need to do to get this running?

Bolt Mods?

Boy, congrats on picking the most difficult semi beltfed there is to build. If it is really your first build I would suggest you do a 1919 or other browning gun first just so you get the basics down. You are probably going to want a browning anyway and they are a cakewalk compared to the vickers.

Well first I would recommend finishing your buddies Sumoi

and then the MG42, Oh and after that there's the Brens to finish.

Then and ONLY then. can we let you loose on your Vickers

Well seen as your one of the best machinests I know it should be a Cake walk for you. I have alot of Info & some books for ya will try & drop it off ya need to start with finding some rivets there is a member selling Headspace washers & ya might want a couple of them for down the road also & I have blueprints for the Plate for ya Congrats on the new arrival Give me a call when it arrives.

Shermans kit

Ive gotta shermans kit on mine, did not think the build was all that tuff, but you had better have a mill! Working on the maxims now and they are a bit tuffer. Order a sherman kit, and you will find lots of help here or on the prexis board as well.
