So through a complicated series of trades and debit swaps and other fancy made up financial terms, I have ended up with a pre-may FN-D

The parts seem to be abundant and inexpensive.

any of you currently own one or maybe use to and have any good info for me?

anyone have one of the 308 conversions?

Many years ago I acquired a reman, registered FN-D, which I still have, and it is in .308, so I might be able to help out.

I have one - originally in 30 cal, I use 8mm a lot. Had the 308 conversion set, but it is not a straight forward conversion. Takes FAL mags, which I did not have many of. I have boxes of 8mm/ 30 cal mags.the 8mm conversion only takes a barrel swap. My gun works very well. I typically shoot it in 30 cal, since it loves the reloads I have .....
