That was a pretty rough looking build. Many of those rivets should have been drilled out and redone. The large rear trunnion rivet is missing completely. He should have bought an FN rivet kit from MSG.

With buyers premium it was had for $2,500. It is a probably a decent buy assuming it fires correctly as is and that you only want a range gun.

Considering that earlier this year I purchased a mint condition beautifully finished SA FN30 built by Kris - Hedge Hog (probably the best FN30 builder out there) with original FN30 (not MAG58) tripod in excellent condition for $4K (shipped) the auction gun above is not a bargain.

I have to agree with DRH and the "not a bargain" comment from redroth. I read the description, then looked at the pictures. Cognitive dissonance! :confused:
